Yeah I do
That's good because you will probably need it. Bottom line is, it's your money your time, and your choice. Take what you will from this thread. At the very least I would add up the total of all the repairs you say it will need according to your description, using the worst case scenario for the engine rebuild, a/c repairs and front end repairs. Add this to the $7500 and then decide if your still in. Either way good luck.Yeah I do
Really dude? I've been pretty nice and thankful but you don't need to be the harsh cold hand of reality. I understand the risks and probably won't get the car but you have just gone way too far brother. You have made the point clear, please move on. I mean my original question was about his use of Lucas oil stabilizer! That's good because you will probably need it.
Sorry, didn't mean to offend. I wish I had the harsh cold hand of reality when I was younger. I may not have made the mistakes I have. Either way, hope it works out for you.you don't need to be the harsh cold hand of reality.
It's alright, thanks for all the suggestions. I know what you mean.Didn't mean to offend. I wish I had the harsh cold hand of reality when I was younger. I may not have made the mistakes I have. Either way, hope it works out for you.
OK, I'll go up to give it a thorough look after his repairs are complete before buying, the price is 7,500 btw. I know any classic is going to have issues, I want a driver, I don't have a garage and am not looking for or holding out for a valuable classic. My interpretation of the sound may very well not be something terrible, but with no doubt the oil light came on, and stayed on until we headed back to his shop, for some reason the light went off after that. I am going to call him today to see if he has made any progress. Thanks again everyone
Just be sure I understand. This is a 1968 Fury III convertible? If convertible, $7,500 doesn't seem like such a bad deal.
