1969 Dodge Polara 2dr for sale OR trade, 383ci, 650 holly carb, edelbrock RPM performer intake, hedman headers, 727 trans, 8 3/4" rear end. Seats and carpet have been done, needs a head liner and dash. Solid floor pans and frame, starts, runs, and drives good. New battery and fuel tank grommet, fuel system flushed about a year ago (tank dropped cleaned new filter). 7,500obo or trade, looking for a manual 01-04 mustang gt, gen4 Camaro/trans am V8, or possibly other manuals. No pick ups, suv's, van's, Honda's, or Toyota's please

Seventy five hundred? I wouldn't for 25 hundred. My God I'd have to undo all the damage, seats, door panels, engine downgrades. Why can't they just leave things alone?

I saw that. :BangHead: now I gotta drop the tank to verify it's all correct. Probably have Vice grips holding the tank up

I started off thinking the body panels looked pretty good overall outside of the faded paint. I can work with that. The I saw the interior and threw up my coffee. No way as fixing it could be over $3500 probably.

The door panels are the worst part, but those can be reworked at home with some patience and basic talent.
They wouldn't look OEM, but could make them more subdued.
Aside from the embroidery in the backseat, they aren't that crazy.

But the $7500 is too high for how it's been reworked, in the FCBO crowd anyway.
But it's a solid-looking 69 Polara 2dr.

After seeing the underhood shots, this car calls to me. The paint was already perfect.

Here's something new, instead of un-doing stuff why not just keep going and add dingo balls, tremclad paint, super wide white walls, a couple of glue on scoops and a trunk fin. Now that would turn heads!
Kidding aside, this car is not too bad and has a sinister look to it already.

Those side shots suggest a lot more outer-skin rust than the description suggested.
And the passenger front corner of the hood looks funny, like it's curled under or something.
Right-rear under the back window looks like it deserves further inspection, too.

This is a cool hooptie-runner, just a neat beater. I'd drive it...just not at that money.

I wonder how the rear spring perches look? She does look a lot lower than you'll find the average C-body. I find this car unusually intriging.

But then, I find blue cars and yellow cars to be my preferences...this one is actually both.

Presumably it's got 2" lowering blocks with worn out springs, and the T-bars are cranked down with a worn dime's space between the rebounders and the frame.

Make some corrections to it and you'll have a $4500 car easily.
