NOT MINE 1969 Dodge Polara 383 727 - $7,500 (St. Clair Shores)

The FB ad mentions a wife, not a GF -- price seems unchanged at $3.5k ask.

"Tires are old but are in good shape. Price is firm. Clean title in my name. Frame and floor pans are solid. Nice interior. Headlights/ turn signals all work. Nothing else does (seems like a bad ground) it worked a few days ago. Runs and drives. Just drove it 3 hours just fine. Wife hates it"

Fresh batch of pics. Wonder about the original color -- B3?

Seems like nobody has a project to work on or read about, so why not try to talk someone into something they don’t really need :)

A vinyl top, ride height adjustment, different wheels, and fix up the interior...the car would be giving off badass vibes instead of the POS vibes its giving off now.

People don't know how to dress their Polaras.

Discovered this chat about the car.

I will be raising the car back to factory height. Rear leafs are on blocks. Front end torsion is turned way down

I have a 440 .30 over with aluminum 440 source heads i will be putting in it

The front yellow paint appears to be spray paint.

I plan i doing the interior over eventually.
Whoever redid them put new foam so i was hoping someone could direct me to slip on upholstery kits

Welcome, and good luck!
And I mean that sincerely, I think you'll have a gem after some de-pooping.

As for slip-ons, you'll need to google.
Legendary Auto Interiors does a lot of Mopar stuff, I don't know about this particular year/model/bench seat.
But even if so, the re-foam that was done might not fit well with Legendary covers.
The seats might be over or under-stuffed from original.
If too far off-target, the covers won't fit well and/or will wear prematurely (wrinkles and/or stitch-popping).

Unless you are pursuing a factory-correct restoration, you'd be better off going to a trim shop and having them make something emulating the original style based on the new foam.

By what you mention above, it sounds like you know your way around a car and what you are planning on doing. The interior is the least of your concerns at the moment with all the engine work you are planning.
Looking forward to see how it turns out on making it your own.
