Thanks for the kind words to all 3 of you
@68PK21 440.6bbl &
@Fury Pursuit !
When I hold this car in my hands, a long quest finally has come to a good end: I am looking for a cop-car since a long time, all started with Carstens 69 CHP Polara. Meanwhile had passed on several cars or they passed on me...right, Carsten
@fc7_plumcrazy ???
@price:No, payed the asked price without even trying to negotiate 1Ct. => this was so reasonably priced, a lower offer would not have been fair to say at least.
Due to the low price I nearly do not expect anything.
Only things important to me is that the paperwork is all perfect (title, bos, fendertag) and that the body is rustwise in the condition that the photos represented. If that is the case, I am totally satisfied. For me it looks rustwise MUCH better than Carstens
@fc7_plumcrazy 69 CHP.
Of course, I would have been more than happy if that car still had its original drivetrain and would have payed WAY more if that had been the case...but it is not and MIA.
@small offices: I, too, am thinking that it is possible, that smaller jurisdictions/departments who ran on a budget might have regularly purchased used cop-cars from much bigger/wealthier ones.
@white steering wheel: really a police specific item??? Thought that anyone could order a white steering wheel (at least with a white/parchment interiour). Those white ones were notorious for getting brittle...I will do my best in saving whats left of this one.
@silver colour&other specs: yes, I realised later, that this is not an originally white car, but a silver one. Cool! Though more difficult/expensive to paint. Are you sure with the white roof? And with the 360HP-engine? Did anybody of you guys see the fendertag(s) of this car? I haven't yet.
@parts: thanks for offering me parts
@Fury Pursuit ! I will definately get back to you and PM you sooner or later!
