I'm in need of at least one screw for the fender trim on the 69 Polara 500.

They are a unique flathead (8-32x7/8) with an undersized head.
I can find undersized oval heads, I may have to grind one down

The factory part number is 6026917

You might want to give Mr. G’s fasteners a try. I have had luck in the past, they may have what you are looking for - mrgusa.com

I hope this helps.

Looked in my parts books but didn't see that number in the numerical index. I'm mildly surprised that it's unique to the Polara 500. I thought the same screw may be used on the Monaco and I may have been able to help you out but as I said, I can't find it in any of the three parts books I looked at.

Can't say I've ever seen a fastener like that before, must be unique to this trim. Even the screws for the lower 300 trim on my car are simple sheet metal screws.

Years ago I bought running Maserati TC to get the right headlight. Sold the right headlight for 1200.00
That is what I paid for the car. Then I cut it up the floor, Qtr panels with a Sawzall Sold the engine also while it was still running.
Ended up making a bundle on it. Need anything for one? Still have loads left!

I’m positive that’s the same screw that holds the sport Fury emblem on the front fenders of my 69 convertible.
