Scheduled build date of Sept. 6, 1969 -- yet no Fratzog bumper. Consistent with @polara71's statement in this post that Sept. 3 is the cutoff.

It has the white top. WTF were people thinking when they ordered cars back then? So many were hun drum dull .
I always wonder about that. I know there were the sales bank cars, but I imagine most who went into a dealership came out with something other than what they wanted. I’ve had my experience with pushy sales people, even told something was not available when it clearly was. I imagine it was worse back then.

Earth tones were extremely popular at the time and people were probably wanting new exciting interior colors that were different than what they had to choose from in years past.

It had to be better back then. The packages now are restrictive. So, to get the sunroof, you'll pay for the upgraded interior and stereo.
If I wanted the sunroof in 73 I could just get the sunroof.

Maybe but how do you explain all the white interiors in the prior year? No, physical documented evidence of one in 70?

I had a B5 70 RR with blue interior once too and have seen plenty of green 70s with green interiors, my bother had one. Also a 70 limelight metallics GTX with matching interiors.
