H53. . . I'm out.

That's a really great looking car... and while I know it's a bit price prohibitive, I wouldn't mind seeing this one come back to the states.

I'm sure European prices are different though and with the dash apart, that price is a little high for the US market.

I really like the wheels though!!! It's giving me ideas!

I hate it when they throw numbers around like that. That means he knows of six. Not six known to mankind.

Regardless, if the car has A/C, it needs to work. I'm pretty sure the A/C in this car doesn't. . . And since its H53, it probably never will.
Aren't the earlier versions less likely to fail? Maybe easier to fix?

I have never had a Mopar with that option, so I'm just on the outside looking in.

How difficult is it to convert to manual AC with modern compressor and all? The vents and duct work is there that's more than half the battle.

I thought there were 6 , mine and 4 -5 blue ones .
I,m working right now on the dash , pain in the ***........
I bought and sold some cars over the years , Most of them to Germany....
Made a little profit and seen them later sold for much more .
This one is rare so i don,t let it go for les , my car , i can ask what i want....if i don,t sell i,ll keep it , easy....:).

If I'm not mistaken, this depends on which version of H53 it has. I can personally attest that ATC II 2.0 can be converted without much difficulty

I'll bet it's not bad. An evening with the FSM and parts book would probably give you the answers.
