Just came across this one thanks to @67valiant 100

- 1970 Dodge Polara station wagon (not Monaco) Polara wasn't on list. Father bought this vehicle new in 1970, only new car by father ever purchased. Had started about 16 years ago, had to move it, sat ever since. (NO TITLE) Looking for best offer over $1,500. Installed new ignition, starter relay and points, same key it came with. Needs new distributor and carb, 318 2 barrel engine with 727 transmission. Vehicle in ruff condition with 84,500 miles. If I fail to sell, will pull engine and sell wagon for parts.

Looks like it has a fury interior pattern? No BSM? Poor gal has seen better days...

if its got the fury interior then its gotta be a canadian built car, i think 70 was the last year canadian dodges used fury interiors.
looks like its a Polara Custom

My 70 Dodge 9 passenger was built at Windsor and has a Dodge interior.

This has something to do with the "special" model if I could guess.

does your wagon have the fold down front armrest ? a friend had a polara custom with the fury interior, i think it was optional. he also had a regular polara wagon with non fold down arm rest front seat bench that looked like a dodge seat

No its just a standard bench. Dodge pattern.

Thank you for posting. Am I reading DM45G0D291470 , DM45G0D291478 or DM45G0D291476 ?

Regardless, if it has a D in the VIN, then it was built at Belvedere. Whether for the Canadian market for not, only the fender tag would tell.

15 miles from me. I've never seen it. I can't find 1500 in parts on it.
Windshield looks good. Cant tell if that pad is toast or not. Grille. Tail lights. Rear window motor.

It's probably there. I bet it can be gotten for less.

15 miles? It's worth meeting regardless.

Not really. I bet if someone bought this car, the price wouldn't go up after a month or so of the deal being done

It probably doesn't have a horrendous vibration either.

Canadian interior cars have all said FM from what have gathered. Others were saying it's a typo, but its happening more and more. View attachment 637931

What triggers the " Fury" interior? The special package? I have likely seen three or four EVER.
I recall reading about them in the books a million years ago but they've been so sparse when I do see one it was a decade after the last.

Here is FP43L0D282681 -- P8XA interior code, C-VON, A77 code like @Tobias74 ' car

Here is FM23G0D312189 -- note the F1F8 interior, C-VON, no A code

F instead of D. That's my guess.

All the tags in this thread with an F as first letter of the VIN are in May, June, or July. Of course, with a sample of 4 cars, that's a bit small...
