Not mine. DL43K1D225317 has been on CL in Tennessee for a few days. I looked at her seriously because, although I don't need another car, I love the light blue color — and the lack of vinyl roof from birth is a big plus in my book.
I found the seller very responsive. He provided straight, detailed replies to all my questions and sent high-resolution photos and a video of the car starting and the engine running smoothly. The seller "had it fully restored in 2012 (rebuilt engine and transmission, radiator, front and rear suspension, paint, headliner, and carpet) and for 6 years drove it as a daily driver."
Still, I decided to pass yesterday after getting estimates of what it would cost for me to be happy (seats foam replacement + re-upholstery in the original cloth & vinyl, dash pad replacement, A/C -- I would need to have those done).
None of those, though, is a must. The car is IMHO well worth it as an entry point into the hobby or for someone who can fix the above themselves. The only things it really needs are new tires (add whitewalls and she'll look really pretty) and new weatherstripping around the trunk (the rear window is tight, but the rubber sealing the trunk around the opening is dry-rotted and water can seep in if the car is left outside, which has been the car's fate for the past month).
I hope that this Polara finds a good home and that we see her for many years to come!
