Back sometime in December while cruising the forum, I found a "For-sale" thread about this wagon. After texting the owner Ryan numerous times, we solidified a deal on the phone.

And after a good wipe down with apple cider vinegar...I can't drive it down the street to the car wash until after the roadsalt has disappeared

Options include 360 2bbl, disc brakes, AC, cruise control, 3 speed wiper, PS, factory tint, split bench with passenger tilt, am/fm with rear speaker

The engine starts right up and sounds great. My commute to work is 35 miles, of which 30 miles is easy country 2 lane blacktop...2.71 rear gearing ought to make it downright affordable.

Some pictures of the bottom. Other than a bit of surface rust, everything is solid, factory undercoating really helped

When the weather permits, the entire underside will be treated with a nice layer of POR-15

In the glovebox was info on the 1st owner.

And look what I found under the rear seat!

Too bad nobody repops the fantastic woodgrain that the 72/73 Monacos had. It would be a must for me. The best alternative I saw was 2 tone paint in the pattern of the woodgrain.

Hard to make it out, but it's there.

Your wagon has the Brougham interior. You are going to love that front seat.
It does seem to be a comfortable seat. This was not optioned from the factory with the 3rd bench seat, but imagine my surprise when I found the someone had attached a seatback to the bottom of the cargo cover

It's even the correct pattern to match the other two benches
