Wow. Thats a nice looking Imperial for 81. I wonder if the EFI has been deleted?
Was that the Frank Sinatra endorsed car, were there many issues with this model?

as stated above: EFI
most were converted to a carb and Chrysler had to eat it on this mess with a recall package so the engine would run properly.

I think most have been converted. My 81 was converted back in 1991 @ 90,000ish miles. Well I think that's what the two Mopar stickers say (door jam and glove box).

The kit to convert it fit in the back of a pickup truck as it was huge and long.
They blew it in the late 50s when they had (briefly) EFI and then again in 1981.
Finally in 1984 they got it right with the 2.2 4 cylinder motors....
