It's a great path to walk, that's for sure. Used to fish with my grandfather at the locks where the old boys camp was near Morris. He lived and farmed along Cemetary Rd. The communities were much smaller in the 70s, we may have all crossed paths a time or two.

In case no one has noticed. This is NOT a six pack setup...... It's off a Plymouth and is a 6BBL setup.

Looks like a 70 setup, perhaps 71. Missing the throttle stop solenoid and clip.
    Still.... a great deal.

'70 setup. The center bowl vent is different on a '71.

How are you able to tell that it’s off a Plymouth and not a Dodge?

Carb build dates and manifold cast dates are ‘69 so most likely used in ‘70 build. What is the tell tale Dodge or Plymouth? I had no idea they were different. Learning about these old cars most every project. Thanks POPS

69 will have aluminum Edelbrock manifold, 70 could have the aluminum or the cast iron. That one is cast iron (and heavy lol). 71 is cast iron.

Plymouth called their version 6bbl or six barrel. Dodge called theirs six pack. Most refer to them as six pack as the name is a little more catchy.

The 69 carb's were dated previous to Feb 69. The A12's only carried 2 build dates, 3/17 and 4/26. where as the 70 carb's would carry dates from after June 69. The only difference between a six pack, (Dodge) and a 6BBL, (Plymouth) was the badging.
