65 New Yorker with buckets and floor shifter

Rarely see a tag filled up like that! Looks to have been gold originally with black interior. I could work on decoding that later.

Wow! That is hauling *** for a big C-Body. Especially with a 2.76 gear. What kind of engine and mods are you running in that thing ? Are you running nitrous ?

493 440Source stroker kit. Just under 9:1 compression. Edelbrock RPM heads with a good valve job. OOTB the valve job is less than marvelous. M1 single plane with Holley 950 Commander Pro TBI. MP 509 cam. Hedman shorty headers. 3000 RPM Turbo Action converter.

I too have the problem of building a quick 4 door car. I have a 440source headed 413 with a xe284h cam and a 3200rpm converter with schumacher tri y headers. the best I ran was a 13.89 at 100mph with a 3.55 gear.

A detail guy with a buffer can get rid of those flames without a repaint. Ad road wheels and whitewalls, adjust the price to around $5500.00, There ya go.... nice car.

Yeah, I have to sell it. I can't bring myself to cut up this car because it's rare. I make **** go fast. It's what I've done my whole life. There is no way I can mini tub, roll cage, etc. this car. I'm going to sell this and get something that is a little more common.

I saw a 1976 Chysler New Yorker 4 speed Hurst for sale on ebay. Very common with an interesting modification.

This is my 65 NYer coupe. It 2 has buckets and floor shifter. 440 with Edlebrock carb. Just finished a Starbird drum to disk conversion, stainless brake lines and dual MC. I am shopping for wheels and tires now. Going for a mild, low custom look.
