Hi everyone, I apologize if I'm in the wrong section or ramble on with questions. I just bought a 1965 New Yorker not long ago. It's a 2 door with bucket seats, floor shifter, console, 413 and a sure grip. I have always been a mopar fan but this is the first Chrysler classic. I know this car is some what rare being a 2 door hard top with less than 9400 produced but my question is, does anyone know how many of these were made with bucket seats, floor shifter and console?

Also, does anybody know how big of a tire (15 inch wheel) I can fit in the rear and what size wheel and backspace?

Does anyone make headers for this car?

Thank you in advance!

First off welcome Sounds like you have a nice car would love to see some pictures there is some great knowledge here I'm sure someone here can help you out.

I'm having some trouble uploading images from my phone so I will have to do it when I get home later.

I have 275/60/15' on the back of my 66 NYker on 8" rims with 4" backspace. They fit but would fit better with 4.5 BS as they are close to the skirt.

235/70/15 on the front on 6" road wheels.

Mine is a 4 door buckets with console shift.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!
No records exist for how many were made with particular options but I'm looking forward to seeing some pics.
Don't do headers if you don't have to unless you want to spend the big bucks. Stock manifolds on these big cars do the job just fine, factory HP cast units are even better and come with fewer potential problems than headers.

Amazing car, love it! A white interior no less!

Man oh man that thing rocks! Lucky bastard! Is that your timing light and other assorted tools thrown on the passenger floor? lol Thought I was the only one that does that! SAAAWEEEET RIDE

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Here are some pictures. I'm not too fond of the pink flames but it is what it is I guess. The car is rust free and not a bondo bucket.

I even love the floor mats!!

Easy on the flames! Lol

I bought it that way. The paint is old so it might have to go in for paint and lose the flames at some point. They did do a great job with the flames and paint as far as the lay out goes. Just whoever picked the design had no business designing it. I think this car needs to be black but we will see. I don't know if I want to shell out thousands of dollars for a paint job at this point.

I've only had it there the one time.

With a spinning thru the 60' time of 2.23 seconds and 2.76 SG rear, it ran 13.92 @ 101 thru the exhaust.

Wow! That is hauling *** for a big C-Body. Especially with a 2.76 gear. What kind of engine and mods are you running in that thing ? Are you running nitrous ?
