Recently picked up a 67 Fury wagon and while underneath her I noticed the shocks were rusted to **** and just about crumbling. I need to order up a set.
these shocks had springs going around them.
Anything I should be looking at in particular?

You can look them up on Rockauto I think, the original shocks didn't have springs around them, so maybe they were put in to help with holding up the rear end? That gives you two ways to go, either put another set of shocks back in with springs or check out the leaf springs to see if they need recurving or replacement.

I put air shocks in my 66 Polara to compensate for the flat leaf springs.

The "coil assist" rear shocks were generally called "Load Levelers". Not very effective, typically. My '70 Monaco had some on it and the rear end still was sagged. I put Gabriel HiJackers on it and that was that. In addition to needing about 60psi to level things out, the rear felt more stable in corners. They are still around, as are the Monroe MaxAirs. The Gabriels were unique in that they had a shield for the air bag, as other brands left it exposed.

The HiJackers also had "HD" piston size and valving.
