68 Town and Country Spare Tire Cover

Hey all. Question on my spare tire cover. It keeps falling off, and it looks like the clips just don’t hold it in place when I take corners. I’m curious if anyone has done anything here that still looks stock but keeps that thing on? I’m thinking maybe some magnets or Velcro. But I can’t understand why the srock set up is not keeping it on either. Thoughts on this? And thanks again for all the super help.

They're not a great design, and start to flex as they get older. Mine does the same thing. Plus they crack in the sun. You can carefully try bending up the two tabs on the cover that clip under the edge of the opening to provide more grip. Or, as you thought, try some velcro on those areas. That might work well!
