I got them here...I couldn't turn them down as they were practically given to me. I don't know why, but nobody wants these cars it seems.
The Diplomat is still a project in progress...de-Lean Burned when I couldn't get parts (it finally died last month- lasted from 1984 to 2014). I still need to set the timing and rebuilt the vacuum advance BBD I have on it now. The car was on a farm and I got it for free. All it needed was a gas tank, rear shoes and front shocks to safety- so $300 or so in parts. Yes I put the flaps on it to prevent further stone chips ( I need to paint it and I need a new front wheel well opening).
The 'doba has only 38000km on it. It really blows my mind driving it because it's like driving a brand new 79 Cordoba (it's a 360 2 bbl and the Lean Burn is still running fine).
Oh, and the Daytona was just too rusty to save...ran great though.
