Make sure you seal those threads in the head.
I stumbled across a picture of my '79 Trail Duster in Sunburst Orange that I was telling you about. Scanned from a polaroid so the quality isn't that great.View attachment 120027
I'm looking for one but they are very hard to find!
Make sure you seal those threads in the head.
That's sweet. A buddy had a "79 Ramcharger when we were in high school. Beast of a vehicle. Loved it immensely! I've looked at a couple, but they are way out of my price range.
Great job Zac!!!
There is some stuff that comes in an aerosol can that freezes rusty nuts and bolts to help free them. I saw it at NAPA and know a guy that used it with success. My brother heats bolts with a torch and then sprays them with cold water to accomplish the same thing.
Thread sealer the liquid stuff in the can with a brushWhat do y'all use on them? Planning just some thread tape. Maybe there's a better solution
Some more truck ****. Drivers door glass installed. Man those vent windows are a *****! Luckily the rubber hides the few small scratches.

Damn bulbs... as soon as I replace one, another goes out.![]()
A little bit of photoshop can fix that.
Like this one? I wouldn't advise the swap...I'm beginning to think it hates me. Or it loves to be cussed out badly. Literally replaced the middle cab light, and socket 5 mins before those pics. All working. Drove to gas station, put gas in, and went to that park down the street, then that bulb went out.
Then she stalled out on the way back home. Didn't wanna start back up. Seemed like she flooded out. Took 20mins to get her going again... I was gonna drive it tomorrow too.
Can we just photoshop a 12 valve between the fenders?? lol
