Another little old lady car for you as it seems.

Not really.
Apparently after owning it for 30 years, it went through six more owners from 1997-2014!
I'm #8.

Poor thing got passed around like a $25 ***** :-(

those are some high quality car photos that show off the cars lines . I agree that the 383-2 was one the best engines for a C body. thanks for the great background story, also!.

I like those hub caps.

You might want to check the diameter. There was a change in the size in the early to mid sixties. I don't remember what year, just the earlier ones are larger than the later ones.
Thanks for that. I'll wait for Chris to reply and find out.

I found this out the hard way. I got 15x8 steelies for the back with different centers than the front. I wanted to do dog dishes all around, but I guess just chrome acorn lug nuts in the back for me.

something I remembered while looking at stans 383. does anybody know why the powersteering pressure hoses were made with two different diameters, larger on the end with the pump and small where it fits to steering box? I have only seen this on C bodies.

Wow, where have I been? Ten pages in 22 hours. I knew you had been looking for this body style for a long time. Yet, because it was a long time, I assumed it was a Don Quixote quest where the quest was the real motivation more so than the end result. Well, you clearly have one upped the Don! Congratulations she looks good despite her quirks but what she doesn't have quirks!?

I think the previous owner is thrilled to know that her ride went to a great home, and you got a second chance to own your favorite car. Love the color combo, thanks for posting the photo's. " Windows down arm hanging out" livin the dream, my hats off to ya. I'm gonna throw on a sweat shirt stand at my widow look out at the snow and cry.

You better give her a good scrubbing. You probly have some micro fibers left from when you had the vet.

I do not recall that Chrysler used black tie wraps back in 1967, I don't think that they were invented yet !! :poke:

Wait one darn second here. I do believe the car in question is a slab side. So is someone confused, mis-informed, a simple mistake, or so excited he forgot where he was? Now where is a Moddy when you need them to straighten the Mopar world out.
