It's time. After sitting for a while and having multiple hot-fixes, I've decided to re-do my first car. I plan on building a 505 for the beast, replacing the worn weather stripping, addressing the under-hood wiring, and possibly painting the car again (I am not pleased with the way my previous attempt has panned out).
First off, some pictures of "before"
When I first got my car (notice the "Albatross" in the background :)):

It was indeed my daily:

I believe this was the day of a Lunar Eclipse:

Next to its cousin:

What got me into racing:

Now for the "now" pics.
Rear weatherstripping was always a problem. It's worse now:

Dash still looks good, though the steering wheel has pitted some. AC stopped working:

Rear seat was damaged by a tuba (any advice on fixing this? I'm not savvy with interiors):

The tired 383:

The 505 build:
Fairly simple. I don't plan on driving this car as often as I used to so I'm not to concerned with the amount of power it will have. I have pictures of the parts I'll be using, but I need to find them. Expect a post later, if you are curious.
For those of you lucky enough not to know, this is what metal particulate does to your engine (from Rush):

Nice doggie!

Quick picture I grabbed. Honed the block yesterday. Not perfect, not awful.

I'm going to use a Comp .545 .545 flat tappet kit for this build. Mainly because I have one laying around.

I do too but the dog looks more like Black&Tan.:p

Whiskey is always a big help!

..Whiskey, the rottenweiler.

- dad
She's even smiling for the picture! Gotta train mine a little (lot) more so she stays in the yard. Getting spayed today, hope that helps some, yeah, right. Dogs always help when working on cars.

Look forward to following the "refreshing" of the Blue Moose!

News flash!

Could Mr Moose obtain a donated EFI system? Tune in for the next show called:

“Antlers in the treetops”
Or
“Who goosed the Moose?”

- dad. Showing his age. It’s from well before your time, son. (Is not -Dylan)
