Eagle Eye Matt! I saw it and thought it was just the reflection.
Is there a supercharger hidden under that hood perhaps??

I don't know what happened in my above post, but this the post I was referring to. I like everything, but IMO he painted too much of the grille area. The wheels and tires on this one are fine with me.

Talking just C-bodies, i prefer the original wheel and tire look. Also, going as far to keep the correct covers or wheels and w.w. width for the year vehicle. I have upgraded wheels and covers but stick with correct optional equipment for that year. However i've found i do like the look of those new 17" alum. Road Wheels (Magnum 500s) on a C-body.
Anything goes for the other size mopars though. Well within reason anyway.

not everyone is with us on these wheels and tires. the grille area .. yeah, not many thumbs up on that I agree -- TOO much black here.
I did a similar treatment on my '71 Newport but I still left bright work on outer trim piece, just blacked out the grille (left the Newport emblem bright) -- I got "singed" here a bit for that

There is no pic of a black V-code GT in that link, just a couple of engine shots. Is this a known car?
