Cannot get dash out of 72 Newport???

Hey guys,

I've tried and tried to get the dash out of this 72 Newport but it keeps getting hooked on something as it won't roll forward from the top and come out, the Speedo cable has come off that's why I'm trying to get the dash out to reconnect it but it's not playing the game!

I have unscrewed everything and dropped the steer column but no luck.

Any tips or tricks please?

Remove the headlight switch and speedo cable from the back. and go from there.

If you lower the column out of the way you should be able to access the speedo cable easier.
