Which car club? Why my Mercury Stray Cats Cougar club. There isn't a C body club around here, nor a Mercury full size club, or a 61-66 Ford truck club. There is a Mustang Club but some of those guys can be a little hard to take just like new Corvette owners are to the older Corvettes.

One of our club members is like me in that he has cars from both Ford and Mopar. He drove his 66 Hemi 4 spd. Charger for the brunch. I was tempted to take the Polara since most have never seen it but the Cougar hasn't been out for 3 months so it went. Mine is the rare Seafoam Green colored one.

I like those cougars really well. Funny, it's so hard me to fathom being able to have a brunch with fellow cougar owners. There is more cougars in that one photo than likely all of montana. Living in a desolate area, surrounded by other desolate states.....well, it's rather boring. The nearest big show is in Sturgis South Dakota and it's an all Mustang show.

Sweet! I love the 1st gen Charger and Cougar

Is that Alex's Charger?? Love the Cougars!

First gen. Cougar my favorites as well. Still have my old Matchbox Speed King Drag Set with a Mercury Commuter wagon as hauler.

It's better than living around a bunch of f*** sticks like around here. My wife misses Billings. And BTW, it's boring everywhere. It's just that it's different kind of boring in each area.

I remember that wagon from when I was a kid, Of course it's green!

It's not boring here ....... ! But we try and keep it a secret.

Nah to some Northern East coast uppity types the lack of government largesse would be boring...

There were 47 people at the brunch along with 22 Cougars. A summer outing netted slightly more people and 35 Cougars to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. After this brunch we drove to the top of Mt Diablo, I have never been up there, and that narrow twisting road would have never handled the Polara unless lone on the road.

I see your car club was over at Matt's and my buddy Alex's Car-meet-at-the-missile-base last weekend.
