Cars as therapy

I haven't had my Newport out yet this year. Right now she is in my garage and just has the "lay up" insurance, no road insurance on her. My '70 Mercury sits outside and I do use her occasionally during winter to go get gas for the snowblower and to run garbage bags over to the community dumpsters. That gives me a chance to take her for a run and it is very therapeutic. :) I like my daily, but there is just such a special feeling when driving a classic.

After a long winter and now the health crisis I was getting a little down. Broke out the GT today and used that to get groceries. How much better I felt after that drive. View attachment 363916

Beautiful GT, do you still have the gold '70 or is it still for sale? In my opinion, cars are very therapeutic just like pets. So far we had the S/23 out more than the other cars so far this year. Had the convertible out a couple times and the 4-door purple sedan out once.
