I hope y'all had a great memorial day weekend ........ If not, no problem. Ellie and I had enough fun for at least 6 other people.

We attended the Chattanooga antique car show, hosted by Robert and Laqueta Soule, in Soddy Daisy Tenn.
We drove the 120 miles up on a sunny Saturday morning and were greeted by a fine selection of Forward look and C body mopars as well as a few other very nice cars.
People from Tenn, Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, Ill, Ohio and other places far off. All had great stories and a few yarns to tell. No one lied, I don't think.

Here are a few pic's........

There were also a couple of tours planned for the event. On Saturday .... 6 o'clock ..... 8 or 10 cars and a mess of folks lined up and drove to beautiful downtown Soddy Daisy ..... To the Sonic drive in where we enjoyed a 50% off deal on everything.
Following that we returned to the Soule residence and watched an old Peter Sellers movie .... "Lady killers" in one of the buildings ...... including free pop corn.

Sunday ....... Another warm, sunny morning. A group gathered back at the Soule residence for a tour of about 30 miles through the beautiful Tenn mountains to Dunlap Tenn and the Cookie Jar cafe, where we enjoyed a nice lunch.
A thunderstorn rolled in while at the resturant and it rained for some time. We departed the Cookie Jar and rode way up to the top of a mountain on a great two lane .... and visited a private 1/8th scale railroad laid out on 35 acres of Tenn woods. We road the trains ...... it rained like crazy ...... everyone got wet .... and we had a blast.
The sun came out on the trip home so we laid the top back and got home Sunday evening......

Carlisle, I would think.

Yep ..... That will be the next trip of any distance.
I'm still working on getting the pop up in shape and a hitch on Jazebelle. She's going into the shop tomorrow for a paint "tune up" to fix a couple of minor paint chips.

A couple more years and Jeanice and I will be joining you and Ellie on the road march schedule. LOL!

That white Ny'er is nice but strange looking. Is that original or a creation?

It would be great to hook up and tour together with you & Jeanice, We look forward to meeting her.

Yeah ..... Factory original. It was said that it was a special order for a chrysler exec.

And its coming fast.....

Yep ...... I'm feeling the pressure. I'll pick up the brackets I designed to install the hitch on Jazebelle today, then install the trans cooler and wire the trailer light receptical ...... And still a bunch of work on the pop up to do. WHEW ....... It will happen though.
