WANTED convertible rear speaker grille

There was more than enough room behind my seat for the speaker, I think I had another 8” to spare. I ended up using a laminated cardboard as well, it worked well. (hard pressed 1/8” thick ) My plastic cover was in bad shape from age, it pretty well crumbled to the touch. Someday I will get a new one from Moparts.

I used the dual voice coil type also that I got from retro sound. Nice fit to the factory holes for the front and rear. They make a standard and low profile versions. I got the low profile version to give me a little more clearance just in case. With a newer under dash radio, it has great sound.
