I was so careful taking my 1965 Plymouth Fury III apart to be painted. I put most small items in plastic bags and labelled them. One thing I CAN'T find are the 8 machine screws that attached the grill to the front of the car. (6 on top and two down at the bottom.)
They were machined threads and not sheet metal screws, and the thread pitch seems to be 32 to the inch. The head must have been very large, as the grill screw holes were very large, probably to make lateral adjustment possible.
Can anyone confirm the size of these screws, and tell me where I could find them? Yes, I realize I could just buy screws and washers at the hardware store, but then the restoration wouldn't look authentic, would it?
