I can see them being an option by the factory back then had ostrich leather come into wretched excess Broughamism corral. The NYB has every wretched excess FAIL there is.

He had an afternoon TV show in the fifties. I was maybe 6, 7 years old.
I'd watch that show and even at that age I would think there's definitely something not right here....
