I have this clutch on the way from Rockauto

Should be in by Tuesday! That's the last piece of my puzzle at the moment to get the motor running.

I don't know how close is too close but I like to see a couple inches room between fan blades and rad, but my rad is nearly irreplaceable.

I decided not to use the shroud for maintenance reasons, I want to see the lines and access the clamps.

On my Roadrunner, I went with electric fans, easy enough, and fairly reliable.

Thinking about a fan clutch myself, saves horsepower.

Definite plus with moving the fan away from the radiator.

The fan blades should almost straddle the shroud, depth-wise. Check that.

We have a good clearance now Fan blades are almost perfectly half in / out of the shroud
