Put in new F&R U-joints and had the shaft balanced. The difference above 65 is amazing.

I just read through this thread for the first time..... Lets see.... Broken U-joint racing a Scion.... A Carlisle love fest..... Then to a desturbing scene in the movie Deliverence.... A short on Jaws, (I don't go in the ocean now), and back around to u-joints.....

About the u-joint.... nothing was mentioned at to weather it was a front or rear joint that failed, or if the reason it failed was ever discovered.
Trans tail shaft damage was mentioned so I will assume it was the front joint.
Could be the result of a "to short" drive shaft....? Over 1/2" travel at the slip yoke is excessive and will result in the tail shaft bushing failing which will manifest to a failed front u-joint..........
