This is where the very first C body show was held..all 7 cars!

Well its timecto pack and get some rest.
Gota hit the road early to avoid Chicago morning rush hour traffic.
Hang in here folks..more to come and still a couple more stops to make

Gassed up and left at.......440....am to beat the Chi-town morning rush traffic.
Went through with no issues.

So who is in Royal Oak?
@detmatt !
Paid a visit and introduce him to Grace and I checked out his amazing woodworking projects.
Wood or metal, he has the hands for it!

Suppertime and then last leg to get home!
I prefer to support local diners.
Besides some of these greasy spoons have the best food and service!
Had the roast beef dinner. Oh so good!

Thank you for taking time away from your work to hang out.
I needed a break from the road construction and idiot drivers.
Every road to the Canadian border was torn up and multiple detours.
To get to smooth roads I had to leave the country!!! Ha ha ha!

I am home safe and sound.
I am blown away that Grace did not give me any trouble despite a drinking problem at the pumps!
13 MPG and ran out of time to calibrate the fuel gauge with the Meter Match.
Guage is out by 1/4 tank.
1/4 is half tank when I fill up she takes 12ish gallons.
Bought site unseen, drove her only a few times before winter set in.
Prepped for the trip, I had no time to daily drive her.
Tagged on Thursday, loaded up and hit the road Friday.
It was 12:20 AM when I rolled in .
1519.23 miles!!!

I want t thank everybody that I seen along the way.
Even made some new friends.
Grace still needs a few small things and will post updates in other threads.
Turn signal switch, rear vent switch, calibrate fuel guage, and more detailing here and there
Thanks for following!

Yes I got to see the gorgeous Grace in person as she and Lea stopped by for a quick bite/beer and car-talk on the way to Steve's! Glad to hear Steve is hangin' in there, at our age every day above ground is a good one!

So Waygun, C-Barge and Grace have all now "graced" (sorry!) my driveway here in Bingo. Now all we need is my favorite '69 fusey in the fleet to visit us - next time? Hope you & Steve had fun, and eMail some pics of our visit if you can! Cheers!
