I have replaced headlights on a bunch of different cars, but how the heck do you do this on a 1967 Newport? I have looked at this and can't figure it out short of disassembling the whole grille assembly. Help!!

I know that I am gonna feel really dumb when this gets answered.

Each bezel is held on with 2 or 3 screws, remove the bezels.
Then you should see the ring that holds the lamps in.

On each of the cast trim rings covering each headlight you will find 2 screws, one on the inside edge on one side and then the second one is found on the opposite side on the OUTSIDE edge, once removed, the inner ring with three screws is exposed for easy headlamp removal.

Eureka! Found them. They sure hid those very well. I love Chrysler engineering and design from this time period. In a good way. I'm closing this thread now.

Thank you!
