Hello everyone! My name is Glenn. Im some what new here but been infatuated by C bodies since I was a kid when our neighbor had a bright orange/black 70 Sport Fury S23 383 buckets console floor shift car. He was a Pharmacist. My first road worthy car I purchased from a used car lot when I was 15 was a 69 Fury II 2 door coupe, slant six/auto. It was originally white with a tan interior, but it had been painted Corporate/Petty Blue with PLYMOUTH on the quarter panels like a Superbird. I later converted it to a 318/auto, then a 440/ auto. I do body work/paint/vinyl tops for a living.I will literally paint anything from H.S. team foot ball helmets, to boats, cell phone cases etc. I specialize in big cars, ambulances, hearses, limousines, the things most places shy away from. Ive been doing these things since I was in High School. Im now 35. I love all big cars, but 69 Imperials and 69 Furies are something special to me. Attached are some pictures of Chrysler Corp. big cars I currently own.

Wow, I'm floored. Welcome, every one of those cars are great to have, esp. that 69' 2dr Imp coup. Very nice.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! (Again) I think I said that in your other thread too. Nice collection you have there, love them all but tell me more about that '67 vert, it looks amazing in blue.

Thank you. I bought the 67 Crown Convertible about ten years ago as a big project. It was the same owner from 1970, they also gave me the one and only picture they took of it at the Imperial Chrysler Plymouth dealer in Crystal Lake IL. It has original interior, (except carpet) original exhaust, belts, hoses, etc, and an original top until last winter. The previous owner was a body man in his day, but after retirement he disassembled the entire car and started a restoration. According to his daughter he ended up getting Alzheimer's and couldnt function like he used to so it sat for years. Its originally blue with black interior and white top, but I wasnt really fond of the original hue of 67 so I painted it a 2003 ish Dodge truck color. Had hand painted pin stripes re-applied and it now sports a set of triple stripe white wall tires like original from Diamond back Classics. It runs/drives well and its pretty quick. I wish it had a white interior because of the heat in the sun.

Any interior pics? I'm fond of the '67s. I have a silver/silver coupe.

I do have interior pics , but I dont have them on this computer and its parked door handle to door handle in my building now so I cant even take any. I also have a red/black 67 Coupe, 67 Blue/BlackCrown hardtop, and two 67 parts cars... one with silver interior. Did you happen to buy your Silver 67 from Dan?

I don't know Dan, where is he from? I bought it a couple years ago from my friend Bob who had it for about 6 years before that. He bought it out of AZ where it was briefly and before that and from birth it was a WA state car. Is your silver interior car a coupe or 4 door? Here's mine, I'm quite proud of it, just ask any of these guys...

Hi Glenn,

welcome here and lots of greetings from germany.
I like the Q4 coloured 69 Imperial coupe.
Is it the one which was for sale in the west last year and has the badly warped dashboard?

Carsten

Hello Carsten , yes it was from Colorado and has a trashed dash pad.... and bad transmission ... a bad steering gear box .... bad gas tank/sending unit, needed wheels/tires but it was cheap and saved from a DEMO person. Opps the blue interior car pic is a crown sedan parts car for the limo, ignore that one.20121224_143133.jpg20130429_194217.jpg
