Hello from germany / 440 New Yorker

Like you see there is a huge space between the screw and the metal...I don't see a way that the idle screw affects the idle in reality...
Your fast idle cam is not releasing enough to allow the curb idle screw to rest on the stop to allow you to adjust. This is why you have a large space between the curb idle screw and the stop.

Ok, what means this to me? I didn't have time yet to check it hot again.

Just enjoying the blue battleship:)

I love watching new parts arriving. Freshly delivered from Detroit Muscle Tec. over Moparshop Germany.

Thank you for your advice @david hill !!
Removal of the blower housing under the hood will help you in the reinstall of your heater box later. If you haven't already order a set of foam gaskets from DMT, ( @detroitmucletechnologoies). They don't cost that much and will greatly improve Air direction flow and performance.

I can confirm for a fact that it will fit 1973 full size models including 1973 New Yorkers. Repaired @73 New Yorker heater box about a year ago. The seals were a perfect fit.

I didn't pointed out clear what I meant. It's the splash shield set on the right of which i'am not sure if it fits. It's listed for 69-71.

Started to put them in.
#1: fits perfect
#2+3: fits perfect
#4: fits perfect
#5(big one in the front): will fit, but holes have to be aligned. Doesn't fit directly.

#6+7: Not included in the set, but worn.
#8-10: fits.

To be continued...

Found one answer: Mopar C Body 65-71 Starter/ Auto Linkage Splash Shield
Seems like the 73 NYB don't have this smal ones from factory. But i will later on check if it fits despite this.

This one was done...

Soon I will change the starter. Works, but not very good anymore. Heater core is build in again but not yet tested.

My friend said that when I let off the accelerator, the Chrysler blues heavily on the right bank and a little on the left. So after just 52 years it's time for new valve stem seals. How much torque are the rocker arms tightened with? I didn't find it directly in the BSM.
