Hi,
My name is Mike, I just picked up a 69 Fury 1 2 dr. orig 6 cyl 3 speed car. No power anything. The guy I bought it from however put a fresh 383 and hurst shifted 3 speed in it. The car came from AZ so its nice and clean but needs some paint freshening and some int help, mainly the door panels and headliner. My first C body car. It has been upgraded to larger disc brakes and 11' drums in the rear as well as 2.76 8 3/4 rr. The car also has a new gas tank and fuel lines as well as new brake lines etc. It is a cream yellow with black int but will be black/black with either black wide steel wheels or some 15x8.5 alum slots on the back and 7.5 on ft. He also had upgraded the front suspension to the larger hd everything. I will try to post some pics soon! Happy New Year!

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Let's see some pictures of it, we'll insist!

Thanks guys! Yes 1970cat, those are the wheels! It has chrome slots on it now but are a little skinny for my taste, I think they are 15x6's all the way around. Commando1, I hear ya they are very hard to come by anymore! The guy I bought it from said he had been looking for several yrs to find a 69-70 C body with a stick. Job loss forced him to sell. I also got a trunckload as well as the bed of my pickup full of extra parts. Still have to go back and get the extra ft and rr glass he has as well. I will try to get a couple pics up tonight.

69 Fury update

Must....have.....pics..........welcome.

Hello!
It has been a long time since I have been on here, so give you a progress report I thought I best log on and take a bit to do that!

I am actually hoping to have it painted this weekend, fingers crossed. Body came out real nice, lots of blocking as its going to be black so gotta be suuuuuper straight!
I found a guy getting a 69 fury 3 from his Aunt that he is parting out as it has a rusty frame. I am taking the interior out of that for mine as he says its complete and in almost mint shape. I also found a 4 speed tranny to replace the 3 speed in it now and that will come later this summer I hope. I also warmed up the 383 a little bit with a nice 292/509 cam and aluminum intake and a holley 750 carb. I cant wait to drive the thing! I drove it from the trailer and into my garage in january and thats it.

I have to figure out how to get pictures on here! I have a bunch on my FB page but cant get them one here?

Have a great weekend.:sFl_america2:

and have a great weekend also.

Hello guys,

A little update on my 69 Fury. Summer has flown past and been busy with lots of things that kept me outta the garage! Finally got the jambs and the bolt on parts like the front and rear caps and marker bezels painted black. Paint laid out really nice. Getting the garage all cleaned as we are hoping to spray the exterior this weekend! I also found and bought some very nice front and rear int panels, now just need to get seat covers for it as well as the headliner. I have a friend who owns an upholstery shop and will make covers for it to match the orig style so may go that way. Found some 15x8 and 15x7 steel wheels for it as well, had them sandblasted so just need to paint them. Wanted alum slots but everyone wants lots for ay decent ones I find and I am on a tight budget on this one.
