Hi, I'm new here. I was just wondering what the best way to remove the oil pan on a 1968 New Yorker?
Thanks
Thanks
Mine came off pretty easily at the flanges after a good PB soaking. .. my car is from TX though so. Popping one at the flange isn't as bad as busting one off in the head, either way. Thanks, i was hoping there may be a trick, but looks like the y pipe and steering linkage it is. Hate to go at those exhaust studs. Maybe i'll wait till i get a dual exhaust and do it all at one.
thanks again
I just removed the exhaust from a 2000 Chevy S 10; a lot newer than your '68 C Body. I had one bolt break. Be careful and good luck. Thanks, i was hoping there may be a trick, but looks like the y pipe and steering linkage it is. Hate to go at those exhaust studs. thanks again
Awe for petesake I think it is called, Frost Green. Previously I had one that was Mist Turquoise Metallic, I liked this color better.Grill is ok, small bent on the driver fender, motor mounts did not break so i'm not sure how the fan hit the radiator. I'll have to give it a good going over tomorrow. I will post a photo of the car later. Not a bad a bad looking car. What color is yours?
