There were several different kinds of radios and corresponding instrument panel bezels.
If the car is equipped with A/C you first have to remove the driver's side air duct that is under the dash, and that's only one screw.
Then remove the supporting steel strip on the back side of the radio (and mounted to the dahsboard lower rear side).
Then remove two screws that goe into the underside of the radio, right under its faceplate. These screws are accessible through two square holes on the lower side of the dashboard in which you have to insert your screwdriver almost vertically, blade upwards.
