The pace cars interiors were blue and sport fury,s , not plymouth III
Theres 1 for sale in wash. state with a vin of P45222857. Mine is P45223089. Thats only 232 diff, and 1900 were made. Its also possible not all were blue interior with a blue top. It also has the sport fury logo on the trunk, along with an auto shifter that has a hurst logo and INDY going vertical. Ive been researching for a couple weeks, and Ive seen where some of the pace cars didnt even get the indy decals. Theres several weird things with this car, im just looking for info.
Theres 1 on Mecum Auctions with white exterior and red interior. Look up Kurt Carlson collection, it was at INDY Mecum in 2010.That,s not a pace car…...
