I just got a smart phone recently so now I can get FCBO anywhere and like HWYCRZR said I also use it for pic's. I am behind as far a tech goes. I need my 12yr old nephew to school me

I`m sort of a wannabe-parent, because younger students speak about SnapChats, IGs etc when I just think: ``What? Is it another thing like Facebook?``

You can get this on a computer??? If you view it on a tablet, you're really just viewing it on a phone without a microphone.

Smartphones are computers. The primary use of my cellphone is as a pocket computer with internet connection. I would be just as happy if it didn't do voice calls at all, only text messages.

Most tablets have microphone and speaker so you can do calls over the internet through Skype, Facebook Messenger or similar apps. They do not have a SIM card slot, so cannot connect to the cellphone network like a phone.

The commenter that said their tablet can be used to make actual phone calls must have a "phablet". A small tablet/large smartphone with a SIM slot and the electronics to connect to cellular networks is called a "phablet" (a portmanteau of the words phone + tablet). An example would be the Samsung Galaxy Note series.

That's what I thought, they can make calls through an app, but not on their own. They must have added the micro phone since I looked into it (a looooong time ago).

I haven't jumped on the tablet bandwagon yet, my Google Pixel XL is fine for me, and I have a laptop if I need a bigger screen.

Reading this on my ipad right now. Five minutes of squinting into my phone to read FCBO is redic! I’m just here for the pictures and HD seems wasted on a little iphone screen.

For one, Samsung galaxy tab s3 model T825 (T820 does not) has a sim card slot. I got it for the cell connection when I'm away from WiFi.
