Interchanging the heater box???

I have a full heat/AC box from a 70 Fury GC that I pulled a few years ago and now that I have a 68 Fury III with AC, I would bet that the box and assembly is about the same. Can anyone confirm before I go tearing anything out that these assemblies interchange? If it was as simple as bolt it in and go, I will rebuild the one already out of the car.

Anyone have knowledge on this? Thanks

Look up heater cores and evaporators online for both the 68 and 70.
If they are same, you're in luck.
If they are different, probably not.
My guess is No, because you're talking about two different generations of Furys (1. 65-68 & 2. 69-73)
I am also assuming that the '70 was Manual A/C and not AutoTemp.

Yes, not AutoTemp. Good advice and I will look at these to see. I guess if nothing else I can use the 70 box for spare parts like the diaphragms, resistors, and such. Thanks
