Is this a C Body lic. plate back or Mopar parts from early 60s?

Was on ebay a few weeks ago. Early 60s and had a "Chrysler Corp." plate on it.
Trying to figure out the source of the back, if OEM , MoPar parts, of perhaps - after market.
J.C.Whitney? Another car company?

Any ideas guys?

The front is off a Chrysler Show Car, circa 1963 - 64 era.
Trying to figure out the source of the back...
Certainly it is not homemade. Has a production look to it.
The front is "hand made", stickers on a piece of stainless steel.

There were a number of front lic plate custom plates for states that did not use front plates. Some of those had a backing such as yours into which the "Stars and Bars", team logo's and a host of others could be inserted. Don't know who made them, but I think JC Whitney was one of the one's who sold them as did some auto parts.

Thanks for the input. Easy to find OEM stuff, very hard for the old, toss out, after market stuff.
