Did Canadian model 65 Pontiacs come with a Chevy 327 from the factory? Like this one?
Are you jerking my chain?...and the factory chain?
Sounds just like this car.canadian built pontiacs used chevy motors and i believe were built on chev frames - the chev wheelbase was abit shorter than us pontiacs.
my 1st car was a 65 pontiac parisienne custom sport convertible - 283 with 2 spd power glide
Would that make body parts different from US built Pontiacs?canadian built pontiacs used chevy motors and i believe were built on chev frames - the chev wheelbase was abit shorter than us pontiacs.

MUST be a lot of torque reaction to need a chain on the rh side, when the normal restraints were only on the lh side!...and the factory chain?
Canadian sheet metal was specific to Canadian production. Canadian car was basically a 7/8 scale US model.IF the Canadian Pontiacs used a Chevy frame (which has a shorter wheelbase in the USA than a USA Pontiac does), what tricks did they use to do that?
