Lets Play A Game: Last Of The Convertibles

Polara sept 29 1970

Lets see how late they built C-body convertibles, the last of their kind! :70s_rule:

I'll go first:

Ours was built July 1st of '70 (701 on the fender tag)

Thank you for posting! But: 1969, not 1970.

Can you tell us more about DL27L0D136139 ( if I read correctly)?
so (Ayilar) your saying this was manufactured Sept 29th 1969? Car looks to have been bought by a guy in NJ and he might have moved or had summer house in Hurley NY. registration expired in 1997. I've registered it in 2020 and currently trying to get it to stop without locking up front wheel. I did purchase a disc brake conversion from RAM man (from Spindles and such are from a Chyrsler car that offered disc's) . Anyone with experience in converting drum to disc on this "C" body? I'll search forum if this has already been posted

Thank you! To your question: yes, the scheduled build date (SBD) of your car was Sept. 19, 1969.

PS: I think this is DL27L0D136136 rather than DL27L0D136139 (as I typed above) -- can you pls confirm, as the last digit is hard to read?

Today, we have a 1970 Fury iii convertible. PM27G0D255468 (if I read correctly) has been in the seller's family since his grandma bought it new. Originally EB3 with M4B3 interior and V3W white top, she currently sports a different blue paint and a black top. SBD is May 12, 1970.

The car is in PA and has been driven by the grandson for the past 2 years. He is selling it on eBay -- I have a started a thread covering the sale here.

Just saw this on the facepage: 1970 Chrysler 300 not sure it's been on here before.
I did not have a chance to react to your post back a week ago. Thank you, have not seen this 300 'vert that was listed 7 weeks ago in Montgomery, MN. The car has now sold, with the last ask being $12k. Looks to have been repainted in red.

Perhaps our Minnesota members will be able to chime in with a tag or more information about the car? @LocuMob @billyfury @DocMcNeedy @Retired_JC @Mntac @mopar440

Oh that's rough
Yep. The FB ad looked better, even though the owner (to his credit) made it clear that it is a project. With a TNT engine, it might have been worth it regardless -- but it is not, which I did not know till I saw the tag. As is, there is too much to fix.

DL27L0D17316470 is now for sale in Paducah, KY. Thanks to @70 Sport Suburban for sharing the tag with me. Originally EB3 Light Blue Metallic, this 1970 Polara 'vert looks like a parts car at present. I have not seen many EB3 cars with black interior and top, and no other with black buckets and console; the search of course continues. The SBD of this ragtop was Dec. 8, 1969.
