New to the forum with my first MOPAR. Here is my new to me 70 Polara Convertible and fender tag. This one is fully loaded; power everything and air conditioning. Its in good shape, it has been updated through the years. So far, all I see I need to do is replace the trunk floor and trunk seal.

This is one of only 19 (out of 842) Polara 'verts made for MY 1970, and one of only 5 known to still exist. A sixth one, FY1 Banana Yellow (DL27N0D214997), was last seen by polara71 (the foremost authority on 1970 Polara 'verts) in a junkyard years ago. He owns an FK5 Burnt Orange ("Missouri"), I own an EW1 White ("Snow White"). An FF4 Green example is in NZ, having been repainted red; AFAIK, it was last for sale for 30k kiwi dollars in 2015. The fifth known N-code still on the road is an EB3 Light Blue example that went to Europe a few years ago; a video of it in the Netherlands is here.
Yours used to be owned my member @mdh157, I'd love to hear more about its story.

Thanks. Outside of the trunk floor, it is. The engine compartment is pretty dirty, but it's a driver not a show car. Why have toys if you don't play with them?

I love this car. I had so many chances to buy it and never did. I first learned of it five owners ago. Beautiful cool car . I hope it finally found a home to care for it like the man who owned it when it was in Kansas.

Nope, you are correct: according to my notes, Steve in Colorado bought the car from @mdh157 back in 2013.
Here is the thread about the car's sale to Colorado. A short history is in this other thread. More of the car's history used to be available on the old Yahoo Monaco and Polara board, but unfortunately Yahoo killed that board last year. @polara71 and @mdh157 should be your best bet to learn more -- I'll PM you the old photos that I have of your car.

Best of my knowledge it was in Nebraska before Dan bought it. Dan tried selling her a few times. I should have bought it but I needed a particular blue car instead. Dan lived in Kansas. When he sold it , it went to a couple with the last name of Morton. The car sat outside in the weather. Not sure if it was their daily driver but it sure looked like it by the time they were done with it.
Mark in PA then bought it and I believe he was discouraged by the imperfections. I believe he had high expectations.
Then Steve bought it, put the console in, painted it, new top and if I recall put the snaps on for the boot.
Its a great car. I would loose the added console and restore it to what the tag says. . . It is a dealer demo , again from memory.

I don't remember reading about CM27T0C121337 -- an ER6 red 300 T-code 'vert that sold on BaT in Shelton, WA back in December 2016. Her scheduled build date was September 16, 1969:
The same applies to CM27U0C200770 -- a green (or citron gold?) U-code 300 'vert that sold sometime after 2015. The seller (second owner at the time) said he had included a pic of the build sheet in the ad, but the online remnants have 13 small pics dating back to 2005 -- and none of the tag or the sheet:
The same problem holds for CM27T0C117505, a 300 'vert that sold in Detroit. The fender tag seems to be missing from the radiator support, but the option list can partly be figured out from the cornucopia of photos posted in the listing:
In the same vein, CM27T0C154025 was listed on Hemmings in July 2015. It was discussed on FCBO in 2013 (when the seller first put it up for sale) and again in 2015, but I have yet to see a fender tag or a build sheet for that car.
Hopefully someone saved those pics and can post them here.

Still haven't found a build sheet for my car. I've had the seats out and nothing there. Next time I'm out near the car I will pull off the seat backs and check under the carpet.
