A father and son team helped out on the "A" team with Chip Foose on the restoration of a '69 AMC AMX on the show that airs tonight.

Pretty cool for them, they are from a small town in the county I live of West Jefferson. They got an order from Chip for their suspension, steering components and some other items,and then got invited to be flown out to CA and work on the car.

Really nice. They have done over 100 cars for that show, amazing. The AMX is an under rated car.

Watching it now. Always liked the AMX, and Chip is doing a good job on it I think. I prefer the factory look, but it's not "over the top" custom so far.

I'm not a hat wearer but I don't like two tone. I love wild, crazy **** but not that.

Some two tones work...many do not. Cool that a local Father/Son team got to help out on the show.

Last car that was really designed for two toning was the 59 Oldsmobile or so.

A couple of good looking stripe designs existed from later on, even the original AMX striping, but I'm also not too impressed with the design of this Project as far as the paint is concerned.
