A friend hosts an annual truck show near by and yesterday was the day. Ellie and I attended with the Admiral, which was well received by the truck crowd. (I think it was the mirrors).

He got to showing off with it on that gravel pile and high centered it. One of the trucks at the show was a large recovery vehicle and they had to winch it off the pile........ Had to be embarrassing to get a 6X6 stuck at a show.

I had those M35's in all of my Regiments/Battalions during my 20 years and only got them mired a few times in door depth mud.....LOL!

I'll bet that V12 is interesting sounding. The red A model KW will be in my dreams tonight. The Schlitz might be in there also.

Yes. I also had a M52a2, and 2 different M818's. Those are 6x6 semis. The desert tan 818 was my favorite.

Supremely impressive.
But, wtf do you do with them?
Restore and sell them to Doomsday Survivalists up in the mountains?

What's the top speed of those semis btw. They always impressed me as being the ultimate cant-kill'em rig. My company could have used them for the newbie drivers. lol

Great photo's, love those old Mack's. I can't believe how small and basic those cabs are. Thanks for posting.

Just play, making neighbors mad, etc. Great fun in the snow if you have one with a winch. Around 55 mph @ 2100 rpms on the 818's. 250 Cummins, 5 speed, with a 2 speed transfer case.

Our company has recycled 2 of these,

into these to haul our double schnabels wind tower base trailers and Goldhofer line transporters into places they have no business like 16-18% grades on North Lake Superior bush roads in winter.

Are you talking about the wedge cab or how many different B models that looked like a 61?

Kevin
Many B model versions. IIRC the odd number, as in b61, is diesel, and the even number, as in B60, is a gas version. Gold Bull dog is a Mack engine & chrome is anything else.
