Mega Mopar Show and Race this weekend at Maple Grove Raceway, Pa

I have been thinking of going but I think it would be on Saturday. I hear last years showing was better on Saturday than Sunday but as usual I probably will bail.

I looked at the flyer again, I see the car show is Saturday and Sunday. I'll probably go Saturday too.

Dont include the too, I said I was thinking about it for saturday. The likely hood of me going is very slim. Being so close to Carlisle and vacation time every penny away from those budgets makes things tighter.
I may have to stay home and clean the car...........work in the morning first.

That's cool. I understand. I'm always optimistic that I may find a needed part(s) for my formal at these small shows. So far this year, the only part that I found for a formal is a couple of 1157 bulbs. On the bright side, there was 10 nice C-Bodies at the last show. I'll post pictures if I go. We'll meet up at Carlisle for sure.

FYI, Don Garlits will be at the show Saturday only and will judge and pick class winners.

I need to reel myself back a little and be more selective of events and conserve $$$. After Carlisle, I'm going to Wisconsin in July (with my truck) with a side trip to Chicago to see a friend who has parts that I need to buy for my NY'er.

Probably. I take pictures of all of the Polara's and post them.

I would assume that you would take photos of just about anything that may have interest to anyone on this board.

Yep, especially the C's. I usually try to take pictures of everything 1978 and back. I really don't have any interest in the new stuff unless it's got old school powertrains.

I never do either but they're fun to drive.

Nice, IMHO the Challenger is the best of the big 3 retro car. I've never driven the new generation Challenger.

I might do that. They have a bunch of them at my local dealer. I'll have to try the one with the 6.1 motor.

The SRT's have a 6.4 now and a nice gear. Mine doesnt have the Trac Pak option so its only got the 3:06 gear, otherwise 3:73's.
If I had known about that option I would have waited

You still going? What time is your planned arrival

I aggravated a neck/back injury that I've been dealing with for years. Too many miles on tank trails. If I can get out of bed tomorrow I'll be there around 10am. Are you reconsidering going?
