I have parts books starting in 1962. It shows up there as the standard starter for automatic transmissions from at least 1962 MY. The PN indicates it possibly started in 1960. That PN shows up in all the parts books through about April of 1969 when it was phased out. The 70 MY shows a different PN.
If I remember my Date Coding 101 class....the four dots indicate the fourth week of January, 1965.
