Just watching and sold for 25000 but I don't know if this was a rerun. Does this indicate the market for our cars is changing?

That's a gorgeous car, but I'd be hard pressed to drop that kind of coin for it.

Being a Newport rather than a 300 or New Yorker, not many options and no a/c and what appears to me to be incorrect fabric on the "correct reupholstered" seats, despite the well done restoration overall, it seems a stretch price that was obtained. The guy still probably didn't get his costs back from the restoration though.

It's a shill car. From BJ's own collection, bid up by advance arrangement with a employee or friend to strengthen the market in the eyes of the viewing public, perhaps in anticipation of other entries to come.
The cars goes back to the garage it came from.
