New Vs. older MSD Boxes

Just curious how many of the new MSD ^ boxes are failing on you.

Another point of curiosity. Is it really where the items are made or the quality of the items making up the boxes? Seems that failures can result from poor choice of components (which keep the selling prices lower) just as much as poor solders?

I've had several of the old boxes and (knock on wood) have never failed one. I know a couple people who I trust that have failed the newer digital 6A/6AL replacements.
